A Survey on Nutritional Knowledge, Attitude and Practice among the Children’s Parents

摘要 目的了解大城市幼儿家长的营养知识、态度、行为的实际情况,以便设计适宜的营养教育内容及途径。方法用整群抽样方法抽取1247名幼儿家长,进行营养知识、态度、行为的问卷调查。结果调查对象的营养知识近中等水平。营养知识得分与其自身受教育程度有相关性(r=0.75P<0.01)。不同职业幼儿家长的营养知识得分差异有显著性(P<0.01)。大多数家长对幼儿营养保健持积极的态度。食物消费频度调查结果表明,绝大多数家长为幼儿安排的膳食基本平衡。家长营养信息的主要来源为电视、报刊、广播,分别为88.5%、83.2%、65.4%。结论文化程度低者以及工人、个体经营者、服务行业人群是营养教育的重点对象。幼儿学校向家长传输营养知识是有待开发的途径。 Objective The survey was conducted about the actual situation of nutritional knowledge,attitude and practice (K A P) among the children’s parents in the metropolis with a purpose to design appropriate contents and methods in practising nutritional education.Methods 1247 children’s parents were under investigation by using cluster random sampling method,to ask parents to fill a standard questionnaire about K A P.Results The results showed that the nutritional knowledge level of parents was near middle, and their nutrtional knowledge scores were significantly correlated with their education levels (r=0.75,P<0.01.). Scores of different occupations of nutritonal knowledge were significantly different (P<0.01). Most parents held a positive and favorable attitude towards rational dietary pattern and health food for their children.Data in the food frequency survey showed that children in average had a balanced diet.In addition, 88.5%,83.2% and 65.4% of the parents selected TV, newspaper and broadcast as their main sources to obtain their nutritional information respectively.Conclusion It is necessary to focus on giving nutritional knowledge education to low educated parents, self employed laborers and workers.It is suggested that the school of children needs to enhance nutritional education towards children’s parents.
