The article introduces the design process for Building B at Block B of New City Square, a commercial pedestrian street situated at Nanjing. It analyzes traffic flow of crowds and vehicles in the street and puts an emphasis on the problem of large spaee＇s fire compartment based on the requirement of relative code about building frre protection.
