The Emergence and Development of the Open Source Software of the New Generation OPAC

摘要 详细分析了网络2.0环境下传统OPAC发生变革的必要性,指出当前涌现的开源OPAC应用对推动新一代OPAC的发展具有重要作用,并介绍了美国图书馆同行为此而实现的不同层次的开源OPAC案例,在此基础上进一步探讨了开源OPAC在功能方面存在的不足、如何可持续发展以及今后需要注意的问题。 The paper explores the main problems brought by the Web 2.0 environment to the traditional OPACs indicates that different kinds of open source software developed by some innovative American libraries could be alternative solutions for new generation OPAC applications. At the end, future improvement and development of the open source OPACs are discussed.
