The Developmental Goal of Competitive Sports Sciences in China After Beijing Olympic Games

21世纪首叶,中国竞技体育水平迅猛提高,并在第29届奥运会上居金牌榜首,实现了历史性的突破。中国的竞技体育应该沿着科学发展的道路继续前行。其发展目标应确定为继续实现竞技运动水平的持续发展、做促进全面发展体育强国建设的生力军以及肩负起时代赋予我国竞技体育的国际责任。

In the beginning of 21st century, the competitive sport level of China increased rapidly, and became the first place in gold medal list in 29th Olympic Games, realized the historical breakthrough. The competitive sport in China should continue developing along the scientific road, the developmental goal should be established for the sustained development in competitive sport, promoting the construction of stronger sport nation and undertaking the international responsibilities of competitive sport.
