摘要 视频摘要是对视频内容的一个简短概括,以自动或半自动的方式,通过对视频的结构和内容进行分析,从原视频中提取出有意义的部分,并将它们以某种方式进行组合。视频摘要在视频分析和基于内容的视频检索中扮演着重要角色。文章首先介绍了视频摘要的研究背景,进而对视频摘要的概念和分类进行了概述,然后分别介绍了关键帧和缩略视频这两种视频摘要的相关生成技术,最后探讨了视频摘要的评估标准,并进行了总结和展望。 Video abstraction is a concise summary of the video content. Based on the analysis of the video structure and content, it automatically or semiautomatically combines the valuable information collected from the video source in some way. It plays an important role in video analysis and contentbased video retrieval. Firstly the state of the art of video abstraction is introduced, then, the conception and classification of this technique are addressed. After that, the relative techniques of key frame and video skims are analyzed. And the evaluation standards of this technique are also discussed. Finally, the authors summarize the existing techniques and identify the areas for future research.
