A Discussion on Song Shiluo’s Taozhou Cong Shu and Its Impact

《台州丛书》汇集宋至清代台州人之遗著,为清代全国最早的地方性丛书,丛书只刊刻甲、乙两集,共10种,编辑者是清代礼学家、藏书家宋世荦。《台州丛书》的编辑保存了富有学术价值的台州乡邦文献,弥补了有些地方史料的不足,对后来者编辑一郡之丛书产生了深远的影响。

Taizhou Cong Shu, the earliest local book in Qing Dynasty, is edited by Song Shiluo. It contains two parts, ten volumes which are the posthumous works of Taizhou writers in Qing Dynasty. This book has preserved many township nation literatures with academic value, make up for the local historical literature lack, and made great impact on the latter research on local books.
