AS predicted by Chinese and foreign observers a year ago, Sino-U.S. relations have continued to ＂escalate＂ stablysince the smooth transition from the Bush administration to the Obama administration. The primary reason for the stability of Sino-U.S. relations is the uninterrupted continuation of a policy toward China the Obama administration inherited from the Bush administration.
