In this interview,the famous British writer David Lodge looks at the development of British novels in contemporary time both retrospectively and prospectively.Based on his own creative writing experience,he talks about his unique ideas on fiction,m writing,and extends his discussion to many significant cultural issues including religious belief,publication system,advantages and disadvantages of literary awards,and conflicts between different cultures.
