With the deepening of cultural communication between China and western countries,film translation,as a branch of literary translation,is focused by experts in the field of translation.Under the guidance of Vermeer s skopostheorie,the paper probes into the strategy of dealing with cultrual factors in film translation.First,the paper analyzes purposes of film translation and types of film text.And then,combining with the documentary translation,paraphrasing and instrumental translation,the paper comes to the conclusion of how to deal with cultural factors in two types of film text.
