平行语料在翻译教学中的应用:一项教学实验

An Experiment on the Use of Parallel Corpus in Translation Teaching

This paper looks into the use of parallel corpus in translation teaching. It finds that the in-class presentation of translation corpus contributes to the improvement of the translation learners＇ awareness of translation techniques, yet that awareness does not have immediate correlation with translation quality. In addition, it is argued that in-class presentation of corpus should be supplemented by classroom interaction. The study concludes that parallel corpus helps to create an autonomous leaning environment for translation teaching.
