20世纪60年代,经过中日双方的共同努力签订了具有半民间半官方性质的LT贸易协定,中日关系得到极大改善。这引起了台湾的极大担忧和不满,日本亲台势力也积极游说修复日台关系。在此背景下吉田茂访问台湾,促成第二次吉田书简,对LT贸易和中日关系产生了消极影响。
In 1960s, through the joint efforts of both China and Japan, the LT trade agreement with the semi-private and semi-official nature was signed, and Sino-Japanese relations had been greatly improved, which caused great attention and discontentment in Taiwan, and tile pro-Taiwan forces in Japan lobbied actively to restore Japan-Taiwan relations. In this context, Shigeru Yoshida＇s visit to Taiwan led to the second Yoshida Letter, which brought a negative impact on LT trade and Sino-Japanese relations.
