It points out city planning must be reformed profoundly for adapting globalization.Combining with the planning practices in the recent years,the paper analyzes the influences of city resulted from the globalization and discusses the direction of city planning reformation from the contents,methods and goals of city planning,then,points out how to orientate planners themselves to adapt city planning reformation.
