江苏历代本草文献源流考略

Origin and Development of Literature on Materia Medica of Jiangsu Province

在江苏历代众多医药文献中,本草文献著作占很大比例,在各历史时期均有较高学术和文献价值的本草著作问世。从三国时期至宋代代表性的本草文献有《吴普本草》《本草经集经》《本草图注》等,明清至民国出现了大量的实用本草和包含现代医学内涵的新本草,当代更是产生了代表国家级研究水平、具有划时代意义的大型本草著作《中药大辞典》和《中华本草》。可见江苏省医家在本草学研究上具有重要的历史地位,为我国中药学的发展作出了极大的贡献。

Literature on materia medica accounts for a large portion of numerous TCM literature of Jiangsu Province, and there were various materia medica books with high academic and documentary value published in different historical periods. From the Three Kingdoms period to Song dynasty, the representative writings includes Wu Pu Materia Medica , Bencaojing Jizhu （ Annotated Shen Nong＇ s Herbal）, Bencao Tujiug（ Commentaries on the illustrations）, etc; when it came to Ming and Qing dynasties as well as Republic of China, a large number of materia medica books which are practical or contain the connotation of modem medicine came into being. In the contemporary era, the appearance of large-scale materia medica books such as A Dictionary of Chinese Herbal and Chinese Materia Medica represents the national level of academy and have epoch-making significance. In a word, Jiangsu Province occupies a very important role in the history of materia medica research and makes great contributions to the development of Chinese pharmacy.
