Research on the origin of kick-ball game

蹴鞠起源于中国古代的齐国(今山东临淄),"蹴术"与"鞠术"作为一种古老的技法早在黄帝时代就已存在,汉代女子蹴鞠发展成为一种贵族娱乐,冰上蹴鞠在清代最为繁荣。蹴鞠有其产生、发展、成熟、衰落的独特发展道路,蹴鞠文化的国际传播主要有东线、西线和南线3条路径。中国古代的蹴鞠没有发展成为现代足球,实有政治、经济、文化、社会、心理等多方面的原因。目前国际学术界主要有3种足球起源学说,即英格兰说、波斯"哈巴斯托姆"说和中国临淄说。

Kick-ball game originated in the ancient Qi state （today＇s Linzi） in China. As an ancient technique, the ＂kicking technique＂ and ＂ball playing technique＂ existed as early as in the HUANG Di age; in the Han dynasty, female kick-ball game was development into a sort of entertainment for nobles; ice kick-ball game was the most prosperous in the Qing dynasty. Kick-ball game had its unique way of development from occurrence to development, maturity and decline. For the international communication of kick-ball game culture, there were mainly three routes, namely, the east route, west route and south route. There were political, economic, cultural, social and psychological reasons for the failure of ancient Chinese kick-ball game to develop into modern football. Today, in the international academic community there are mainly three theories about the origin of football, namely, the England theory, Habastom Persia theory, and Linzi China theory.
