On the Reasons Led to Tragedies of Women Married Far away

古代文学中有很多反映女子远嫁悲剧的作品,形成悲剧的原因主要有:远嫁异国他乡,由于制度不允许,或交通不便利不能回国(家),导致骨肉分离,思念故土亲人而悲;孤身远嫁,失去家族保护,一旦所托非人,夫妻不睦时,只能独自忍受苦难而悲;由对恶劣的自然环境、生活习惯、礼仪风俗的难以适从而悲;由于远嫁身不由己,丧失人格尊严与自由而悲。

There were many tragedies about women married far away from hometown in classical literature. The reasons were these ways： They couldn＇t go home because of system or traffic inconvenient and missed relatives; they had to endure anything after they left home, especially their husbands didn＇t love them; they couldn＇t adapt to different natural environments, lifestyles and customs; even they were forced to marry to enemies and lost their dignity.
