In this paper the causes of collape in tunnel with small cross-section in hydraulic engineering is analyzed in detail, the collapse types and the measures to prevent and to treat this problem are put forward. In the process to treat tunnel collapse, a measure to combine steel support with sprayed concrete has been put forward, and an engineering example to use this method is introduced.
