Clinical application of circulating DNA

循环DNA是近些年发现的生物标志物。健康人含有微量的循环DNA,疾病状态下其含量有不同程度的升高。尽管目前循环DNA的来源尚无定论,但它在临床应用方面的研究已广受关注。通过监测循环DNA总水平变化及相关肿瘤基因的异常改变,可以实现恶性肿瘤的早期诊断、疗效监测及预后评估;产前疾病的监测与筛查;以及其他一些疾病的病情监测等。

Circulating DNA is a new biomarker in recent years. The density of circulating DNA in healthy people is very low, as to patients, it reaches to a high level in different degrees. Although the origin is still obscure, a lot of researches have focused on its clinical application by quantification of circulating DNA or analysis of abnormal changes of tumor-related genes, including the early diagnosing, further monitoring, evaluating prognosis of tumors, and prenatal diagnosing.
