摘要 肌肽是由丙氨酸和组氨酸组成的二肽,广泛存在于哺乳动物的肌肉、大脑和肾脏等组织中。研究表明,肌肽具有多种生物学活性,且与人类多种疾病密切相关。本文对肌肽在白内障、糖尿病、神经退行性疾病、肾脏疾病、消化道疾病、肝脏疾病和心脏疾病等疾病中的保护性作用做一综述。 Carnosine (β-alanyl-L-histidine) is an endogenous synthesized dipeptide which is widely distributed in muscle, brain and kidney. In vitro and in vivo studies have revealed that carnosine possesses many biological functions such as cytosolic buffering capabilities, broad antioxidant activity, and metal ion-chelating properties. Recently, carnosine has been shown to relate closely to many of the human diseases. In this review, the application of carnosine in such diseases as cataract, diabetes, neurodegenerative disease, kidney diseases, diseases of digestive tract, liver diseases and heart diseases, was summarized.
