On GMS Security Cooperation Mechanism

大湄公河次区域是当今世界地缘政治和大国战略相互作用较为集中的地区之一。当前GMS政治和安全形势的发展使建立该地区某种形式的安全机制的必要性日益被各方认可,但如何协调大国间的战略意图和GMS各国间的关系以及完善GMS地区安全行动协调机制已成为GMS安全合作所面临的挑战。倡导"以合作求安全"的理念、"先易后难"的务实态度,"积极推动"的政策取向是构建GMS安全合作机制的有益思路。

Greater Mekong Sub-region is the world＇s geopolitical and strategic interaction between large countries more focused on one of the regions. GMS current political and security situation in the development of the region to establish some form of security mechanism in the need for all parties is increasingly being recognized, but how to coordinate among the major powers of the strategic intent, GMS countries as well as improving the relationship between the GMS regional security coordination mechanism of implementing GMS cooperation has become the face security challenges. Advocating the concept of ＂seeking security through cooperation＂, the pragmatic approach of ＂the easier part first ＂, the policy direction of ＂promote actively＂ is GMS useful ideas to build security cooperation machanism.
