Based on the hospital management practice and hospital development status in one tertiary hospital in 30 years after reform and opening up, the functions and effectiveness of hospital management are diseussed. Sustainable development is the absolute principle, culture management is the inherence and people＇ s satisfaction is the vision of hospital construction. Interest share is the difficulty of hospital management and discipline construction is the weakness of hospital management. Hospital reform shouht pay attention to balance the interest between hospital and patient and strengthen discipline construction.
