摘要
《长干行》是美国著名诗人埃兹拉.庞德英译中国古诗中颇负盛名的一首,本文试图通过对这首诗歌翻译的分析,来展现庞德对原诗美的再现上的独具匠心,并由此了解作为意象派代表的庞德利用翻译来创作出现代主义意象派新诗的翻译策略。
The River-Merchant＇s Wife： A Letter is a long-famed version among the translations of Chinese ancient poetry by Ezra Pound, the great American poet. Through analyzing the translation of this poem, this paper tries to open up to readers the translator＇s originality in representing the beauty in the source verse and find out the translating strategies of Pound as a representative of imagism in creating modernistic new poetry of imagist style during the process of translation.
