From the viewpoint of Feminist, the destiny of Eveline and Mafia who are two protagonists in James Joyee's Dubliners clearly mirrors the traces of Patriarchal programming in Irish society in the early 20^th century. By seeking for the embedded link between the two short stories, Eveline and Clay, the position of woman in Ireland is indicated apparently, so does Joyce's uneasily identifiable Feminism.
