浅谈独立学院对浸泡式教学法的实践

浸泡式教学法以英语为媒介,而不是目标教授一门知识课程,它在外语教学中得到了广泛应用。本文分析了普通本科院校下属的独立学院的英语教学现状,并探讨了独立学院对浸泡式教学法的研究与实践。浸泡式教学能够比较有效地培养学生的英语应用能力,是外语教学的有效形式之一。将浸泡式教学法引入英语教学,加大外教上课量,可以减少传统英语教学的弊端,提高独立学院学生的英语应用能力。

The immersion approach, which aims to help students acquire their professional subjects by taking English as a medium rather than a goal, has been widely practiced in the second language acquisition. This paper analyses the present situation of English teaching in the independent colleges attached to universities. In addition, it touches on independent colleges＇ research and practice of the immersion approach as an effective way for students to obtain English practical competence. We can overcome shortcomings in traditional English teaching and help the students gain a high level of practical competence by applying the immersion approach and increasing foreign teachers＇ class hours.
