摘要
旅游本质上是一种文化交流活动,常常表现为跨文化交流,而这种交流是旅游活动中的主客双方利用符号形式进行的,符号在旅游跨文化交流中承担着表达与解读的基本功能,由于交流者文化背景的不同,符号的表达与解读的方式与意义则大为不同。
Essentially, tourism is a cultural communication activity that is often presented as an inter - culture communication activity. The host and guest carry out this communication in a symbolic way in tourism activities. Symbols undertake the basic function of expression and explanation in tourism inter - culture communication. Because of the different cultural background of the host and guest, the way and meaning of the symbols' expression and explanation are greatly different.
