This paper introduces the IEEE -488 standard bus for general instrumentation. Using which to connect with computer and programmed instruments, an automatic testing system can be formed. At the end of the paper, the programming of the IEEE-488 adaptor and the programmed instruments suitable for PC are also introduced.
