国家大剧院打造的第一部原创歌剧《西施》10月29日与观众见面。对这部歌剧的评价,可谓众说纷纭,褒贬不一。乐评人紫茵认为,虽然《西施》还有些许不足之处,但仍有其独特之美;沈祺认为,《西施》只是开了一个头,接下来的发展还需要艺术家们的辛勤努力和剧院的苦干精神;李瑞祥认为,《西施》如果在文本和音乐上进一步斟酌和修改,应该能成为一部更成功的歌剧;美国著名乐评人司马勤认为,《西施》的音乐无法带动故事情节,剧本完全没有张力;伦兵认为国家大剧院的第一部原创歌剧原本应该比这部更出色;而在《西施》研讨会上,来自各方面的专家则对该剧进一步的完善提出了诸多中肯的意见。
OUTLINE / NCPA's first original opera—Xi Shi—received its premiere on October 29 to mixed reviews.Zi Yin criticized some of the drawbacks of the production,but remarked that there was some fine music in the midst.In Shen Oi's opinion,Xi Shi is only a beginning there's a lot of hard work ahead;while Lun Bing had hoped for a better inaugural original opera at the NCPA.Li Ruixiang urged further refinement in the libretto and music; and Ken Smith was disappointed with Xi Sin's music and libretto,because they both lack momentum.
