The paper at first generalizes some definitions, classifications, and applications about learning strategies. Then it does some analysises and illustrations about five concrete vocabulary learning strategies .The paper points out that English teachers should attach much importance to the students＇ ability to use learning strategies when learning and memorizing words, which can help the students out of the troubles and difficulties in vocabulary learning.
