There exist many malpractices for in-ground constructed light oil pumping station at oil depot. The article approaches such three aspects as pump's design, process design of pump's suction system and pump's reasonable usage, and puts forward concrete measures for cavitation prevention and quickening oil unloading speed. And also puts forward improving measures for reducing hydraulic loss in suction piping and installing low speed prime pump in suction system.
