摘要
针对因CRT与LCD的电光特性差异,造成LCD显示灰度失真的问题,在分析人眼视觉特性和亮度变化关系的基础上,介绍了LCD电光响应曲线,研究了LCD的γ校正公式,给出了具有S形的γ校正曲线,提出了一种基于查找表的γ校正方法,并给出了LCD的γ校正硬件和软件的实现方法。采用所提出的方法,明显提高了LCD的图像质量。
The gray scale distortion of the LCD display is brought about by the difference between the optical and electrical characteristic property. After an analysis of the relation between human visual characteristics and luminance variation, the electro-optic response curve of LCD is introduced, and the γ correction formula of LCD is studied. The S-shape of γ-curve is given. A design method of γ correction based on the look-up table is proposed. The realization method for γ correction rectifying hardware and software is given. The display image quality is improved by the above mentioned method.
