This thesis analyzed Zhang Xiaoping＇ boxing techniques such as attack, defend and time distribution in five Olympic competitions .He could use straight punch and swing with ease. In addition, he exerted defensive skills and gaits well, rationally using rules in competitions so that he didn＇t create opportunities for opponents and ended in victory. In conclusion, excellent defensive skills are necessary conditions for victory.
