Development of Drug Treatment for Viral Myocarditis

病毒性心肌炎在儿科呈逐年上升趋势,可导致严重的心肌损伤、心力衰竭或心肌重构,甚至导致心源性猝死。但目前尚缺乏特效的治疗方法。病毒性心肌炎早期以心肌细胞的直接损伤为主,后期以免疫介导的心肌细胞损伤为主,其治疗策略应针对心肌细胞损伤的病理生理学。抑制炎症、调节免疫、营养心肌和减轻心脏负荷等综合治疗措施是药物治疗的原则。临床研究证实,抗病毒药、抗感染、免疫调节药和中药等对其有良好的疗效。

Recently, Viralmyocarditis has increasingly appearred year by year, which may result in myocardial damage, heart failure, myocardial remodeling and sudden cardiac death. However, no specific treatment is available. The cell damages mainly result from immediate damage in early phase and immune mediation in late stage in the pathological process of viralmyocarditis. So the treatment strategies for viralmyocarditis aim at the pathophysiologieal course of viralmyocarditis. Medication principle for viralmyocarditis is the comprehensive measures of restrainning inflammation, immune regulation, myocardial alimentation and lightenning the burden of the heart. Clinical researches have approved that the drugs of antivirus, anti-infections and immunoregulation ,and Chinese traditional medicine have good effects on viralmyocarditis.
