Laudan,as a famous philosopher of science in US in the 20th century,proposed the rational model of scientific progress and the theory of scientific research tradition centering on solving the problem.This paper put those theories to be some tools for historical analysis,followed Laudan＇s line to study the evolution process from the Phlogiston theory to the Oxidation theory of chemical history,and revealed the mutual unity between history and philosophy of science.
