对大学英语教学改革困境的分析

Analysis on the Predicament of College English Teaching Reform

简要回顾大学英语教学改革提出的背景和走过的历程,并运用新制度经济学的视角对大学英语教学改革所面临的困境进行了剖析,认为主要存在的问题是:大学英语教学有问题,但绝不只是大学英语教学的问题;大学英语教学发展存在路径依赖问题,非破旧不足以立新;英语评价标准落后,无法提前预测社会需要。最后针对这些问题,提出了相应的改革大学英语教学的政策建议,以期对大学英语教学的健康发展有所助益。

After revealing some problems on college English teaching, the article makes a brief review of the reform history of college English teaching, and analyzes the difficulties of the teaching reform in the way of New Institutional Economics. It finds that there is something wrong with the college English teaching, but it＇s not only the problem of college English teaching. The development of college English adheres to some route, its need the dilapidation and propose the new route, and the standard of English evaluation is not advanced enough to forecast the social requirements. Meanwhile the article gives some constructive suggestions, so as to being helpful to the healthy development of college English teaching.
