精品课程建设是教育部为提高教学质量提出的一项重大改革内容,阐述"钢结构"精品课程建设的意义,并提出应从教学内容、师资队伍、教学方法及手段、教材等五个方面着手精品课程的建设。在结论中从科研建设、与实践相结合及师资队伍培养机制建设等方面,对精品课程建设提出了一些新的想法。

The conduction of quality courses is an important innovate to improve teaching quality. The paper expatiates the significance of＂Steel structure＂ course, and puts forward that ＂Steel struc^tre＂ course should be constructed from teaching content, teachers, teaching means, teaching material and so on. Some new ideas about scientific research, conduction of training teachers and combining with practice are put forward in the end by editor.
