The experts forecast that MLC 2006 will become effective in 2011.The Chinese Government will ratify the Convention as appropriate. The Convention will bring great influence to the implementation work of the Maritime Safety Administration. How to deal with it and get prepared is an important task before the Maritime Authorities of China. This article analyzes emphatically those provisions closely relevant to MSA,hoping to provide some help to implementation of the Convention.
