色彩之于建筑，其重要性好比外衣颜色之于人的仪表，气质、涵养一目了然。古今中外，建筑的色彩都在不断表现着各民族、各时代人们对美学的认识。现代的建筑师在做设计时也极其重视建筑色彩的选择，毫厘之差也许也会让他们抱憾终生。它对人们视觉心理、审美感受的影响不容忽视．我们不得不再次讨论建筑色彩意味着什么。
The importance of color to architecture is what coat color is to appearance, and temperament and selfrestraint of a person are quite clear. In the ancient and modem times in both China and foreign countries, the color of. architecture constantly shows understanding of aesthetics of people from different nations and different times. The modem architects pay extreme attention to selecting the architecture color in design, because the slightest difference may make them regret for their rest of time. The influence on visual mind, aesthetic experience of people should not be neglected. We have to discuss what the meaning of architecture color is.
