说“音曰”

Study on the Exegesis Term of "the Pronunciation Is"

"音曰"这一训诂术语最早出现在东汉高诱的《吕氏春秋注》中,但历代注疏典籍用例甚少,古今辞书及训诂学著作均未提及。我们根据现有语料对"音曰"进行分析,认为它具有注音、释义、破通假、探同源、明连语等作用。通过对这一术语的分析,以期对训诂学研究和辞书编撰工作有所裨益。

The exegesis term of ＂the pronunciation is＂ has originated in Lvshi Chun Qiu Zhu（吕氏春秋注） annotated by Gao You in Eastern Han Dynasty.But this exegesis term had been seldom used in the commentary and subcommentary to the classic of past dynasties.Dictionaries and exegesis books haven’t mentioned it too.Through the analysis it is found this exegesis term can be used to transcribe pronunciation of characters,to explain words,to indicate borrow words,to contact cognate words and to recognize lianmianzi（联绵字） etc. The study of this exegesis term can be quite helpful for researching exegesis and compiling dictionaries
