This paper focuses on the main content and forms of expression of the traditional handicraft in Three Gorges Reservoir area to analyze its rich culture.According to the effects of the construction of Three Gorges project on Three Gorges Reservoir area’s economy and culture,it expounds that it is necessary to enhance the protection and inheritance of the traditional handicraft in Three Gorges Reservoir areas,and brings forward the countermeasures.
