On the Modern Variation of Allegory from The Pilgrim’s Progress by Banyang and the Castle by Kafka

本文从分析寓言这一表达模式的结构与特征入手,通过对班扬的《天路历程》和卡夫卡的《城堡》这两部作品的解读,分析、考察了寓言的存在及发展线索,从而得出寓言这种古老的模式经卡夫卡的创造性利用,已有了它的现代变奏的结论。

By analyzing the structure and characteristic of allegory and the decoding of The Pilgrim’s Progress and The Castle,this article reviews the existence and the evolution of allegory and comes to the conclusion that allegory,the old genre of literature,has got its modern variation by Kafka’s creative exploration.
