程颐“谏折柳”事件的思想史意涵

The Analysis and Exposition of Cheng Yi Pleading with Che-tsung not to "Playfully Break off a Willow Branch"

本文选取程颐谏哲宗"戏折柳枝"一事为研究对象,透过前人的经典注疏与故事重构,试图揭示这一思想史事件所包含的思想价值。本文认为,虽然程颐有自身的考虑,但其不妥之处在于:以"师道尊严"压"君臣之义"、以理压情。程颐谏哲宗"戏折柳枝"一事,再一次印证了庄子对儒家之批评的深刻性。

This paper chooses the story of Cheng Yi pleading with Che-tsung not to ＂playfully break off a willow branch＂ as the object of study, and hopes to reveal its ideological value with the aid of classical commentary and sub-commentary and the story concerned it. Although Cheng Yi has his own reason, he hasn＇t paid enough attention to two points at least： on the one hand, he thinks the dignity of the teaching profession is superior to the meaning of relationship between the monarch and the subject; on the other hand, he thinks the reason is superior to feeling. The thing corroborates Zhuangzi＇s profound criticism of the Confucians once more.
