《尚书》虽然没有明确提出"大一统"的口号,但是全书的具体内容、编排形式和特殊用语等诸多方面都表现出了明显的"大一统"思想倾向。作为我国第一部史书和最重要的儒家经典之一,《尚书》中蕴含的这种思想,对中国人格外强烈的"大一统"的国家意识的形成产生了巨大影响,并是中西方文化差异的肇因之一。

Though The Book of History（China’s oldest historical record） hasn’t put forward the slogan of ＂grand unification＂,it’s complete content,arranging form and the peculiar terms have clearly shown obvious ＂grand unification＂ thoughts.The Book of History as one of the first historical records and most important Confucian School classics in our country,intensely influnced Chinese in the notion of ＂grand unification＂.
