现代城市与公共艺术研究

Study on modern city and public arts

简述了公共艺术的基本概念、起源的背景和国内外对公共艺术原则特征的不同理解和归纳,从城市文化的特征、现代城市性质职能的转换对公共艺术影响的角度,分析了公共艺术和现代城市之间不可分割的关系,从而揭示出公共艺术对现代城市的主要贡献途径。

This paper firstly investigated the basic definition of public arts, the background of its origin, and the different understandings of the principles and traits of public arts in the international academic field. Then, from an aspect of the impacts brought by the characteristics of urban culture, the transfer of the nature and function of modern city to the public art, the paper analysed the nonseparable relationship between public arts and modem city and pointed out the main contributions way of public arts to modem city.
