纵观欧美文化研究的历史,霍夫斯泰德文化维度理论有其特殊的历史地位和现实意义。霍氏理论在学术研究和跨文化实践中有广泛应用,但存在一定的局限性,未来可能会有新的发展方向。

Looking back the history of cultural analysis in the Europe and America,Hofstede's culture dimension has its unique significance.This article analyzes its application both in academic research,intercultural practice and its existing limitations.It points out some further efforts which we can improve and update it.
