摘要
文章从七个方面探讨了图书馆开展业务流程重组(BPR)的动因:目前的业务流程不能完全适应数字信息环境的要求;图书馆工作重心的转移;图书馆信息服务的方式更加多样化;图书馆的功能不断拓展;用户信息需求的纵深化、个性化、多样化;用户可更多地参与图书馆的工作与服务;用户信息与服务的一站式需求等。
The paper explores seven factors driving business process reengineering : the current libraries' business processes can't fully meet the requests of digital information environment, the work focuses of libraries have been shifted, the means of information services are becoming diversifying, the functions of libraries are being expanded constantly, the information requirements of users are deepening, individualizing and diversifying, users can take more part in the works and services of libraries, information and services' demands of users tend to be integrated.
