1927年春夏间的武汉妇女裸体游行传闻颇为轰动,引起各类报纸的关注。其真相固需再讨论,但更重要的是,这一传闻在传播过程中逐渐被政治化,成为各方政治势力宣传的材料。舆论通过此传闻,"想象"武汉政府将建立一个怎样的新国家,这一"想象"丑化了武汉政府,也迫使武汉采取措施消弭谣言,汉口党报力图辟谣,但似无力消除此传闻带来的负面影响。

The rumor of Wuhan women naked pageant caused huge stir between ＇spring and summer in 1927. Many newspapers paid attention to this information at that time. It＇s more important to discuss the politicizing of the rumor than search after the truth, especially while the rumor became fatal materials in politics propagandizing war. Consensus imagined what type regime would be constructed by wuhan government though the rumor. In fact, the guesswork defaced the image of wuhan government, which obliged Wuhan government to take measures to eliminate the rumor＇s negative effect. Unfortunately, it seemed that the hankou government＇s part organ didn＇t achieve it finally.
