英国与欧共体预算矛盾是指英国加入欧共体后,对欧共体预算缴纳大于它从欧共体预算所得,要求改变其净缴纳国地位而与欧共体发生的矛盾。英国与欧共体的预算矛盾产生于20世纪70年代初英国加入欧共体谈判之时。预算矛盾的成因有多方面,主要有欧共体在英国加入之前先行制定的预算制度的约束、英国自身经济结构的不利因素、法国的阻挠、英国谈判策略有失误之处等。英国与欧共体预算矛盾的产生对其后英国与欧共体关系发生了重大影响,与欧洲一体化进程亦有联系。

The budgetary controversy between Britain and European Community implies that British contributions to European Community＇s budget is higher than it received from EC＇s budget, and need a change of its contributor after Britain entry into European Community.
