The paper introduces the definition of unit-step function and delayed unit-step function.Researches on the nature of unit-step function and its application,various types of Piecewise functions are presented by unit-step function.Meanwhile,the unit-step function is used for the Laplace transform,which greatly simplifies the integral transformation.Lastly,the relationship of unit-step function and unit impulse function is inotroduced.
