Graphic Organizers can be used as a powerful visualized learning tool, be controlled freely by the learner. This paper discusses the meaning, functions, theoretical foundations, types, some frameworks for selection and applieation（FSA） and some principles of creating graphic organizers, in an attempt to get the basic knowledge about the graphic organizer.
