目前,学术界对隐语内涵的认识并不统一,在隐语的称名、外延和属性等方面均存在不同的观点。在分析前人观点的基础上,可以认为隐语是一定的社会群体所使用的有意不为人知的秘密词语。"隐秘性"是隐语最根本的特质。

presently, the understanding of the connotation of obscure language has not reach a consensus. Different comments exist in the terminology, denotation and attributes of obscure language. This thesis defines obscure language as a kind of secret language used by some certain people in a society on the basis of analysis of the previous study. Obscurity is believed to be the primary attribute of obscure language.
