英汉情感隐喻象似模式的探析

An Analysis of Metaphorically Lconic Models of Emotion in English and Chinese

以认知语言学框架下的概念隐喻和象似性为理论基础,对英汉表情感成语的语料进行了统计,归纳了英汉情感隐喻象似的四种模式:空间方位隐喻象似、温度隐喻象似、颜色隐喻象似和人体隐喻象似,从而使情感隐喻的研究进入到语言符号理据性的研究领域。

Guided by the conceptual metaphor and the theory of iconicity in cognitive Linguistics,and through the statistics in idioms of emotion in English and Chinese,this paper deduces four metaphorically iconic models of emotion in English and Chinese,namely,the metaphorically iconic model of orientation,the metaphorically iconic model of temperature,the metaphorically iconic model of color and the metaphorically iconic model of human body.By doing so,it attempts to spur the study of emotion metaphors on to that of motivation.
